What is Omega-3?
Omega-3 is an essential fatty acid or EFA. EFAs are essential to human health but cannot be manufactured by the human body and therefore must be obtained through diet. Omega-3 EFAs are an integral part of cell membranes throughout the body and affect the function of the cell receptors in these membranes.
